NVIDIA officially introduced GeForce GTX 1630 - $150 entry-level graphics card based on Turing architecture

NVIDIA officially introduced the entry-level graphics gas pedal GeForce GTX 1630.

For comparison, the model GeForce GTX 1650 has 896 cores.
Otherwise, the novelty is very similar to the older model: the same architecture, the same PCB, the same indicator of power consumption of 75 W and the same cooling system options.
There is no reference version of novelties, only variants from partners NVIDIA.
The graphics card has 4 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 12 GHz, as in the older model.
To tell the truth, nowadays the memory bus bit width is less and makes up only 64 bits instead of 128.
This decreases the memory bandwidth to only 96 GB/s instead of 192 GB/s.
This is even lower than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti on the Pascal architecture from 2016.Memory bandwidth greatly affects the performance of the graphics card, especially when using high resolution.
Therefore, it is very difficult to call the GeForce GTX 1630 a gaming gas pedal.
Apparently, NVIDIA believes otherwise.
According to earlier rumors, the GeForce GTX 1630 will be even slower than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
