Chinese tech blogger Extreme Player has shared performance data about AMD Ryzen 7 7700X eight-core processor engineering sample, demonstrated in Cinebench R20 synthetic test.
The chip was up to 33% faster than the Ryzen 7 5800X model on the still current Zen 3 architecture.Image source: ExtremePlayerIn Cinebench R20 engineering sample Ryzen 7 7700X, running at 4.5 GHz, scored 773 and 7701 points respectively in single-threaded and multi-threaded tests.
In the former, this is 23% more than the eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X, and in the latter, 33% more.
In single-threaded performance engineering sample Ryzen 7 7700X surpassed even the current flagship Ryzen 9 5950X - the difference is 19% in favor of news. From earlier leaks we know that the engineering sample of 16-core Intel Core i7-13700K future series processors Raptor Lake scored 814 points in single-threaded test Cinebench R20.
In turn, multi-threaded performance of the upcoming Intel novelty is estimated to score 11 243 points in the same test.
This is 46% higher than the result of Ryzen 7 7700X engineering sample.
