ICC introduced MicroCloud C-415a based on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

System integrator International Computer Concepts (ICC) has announced the availability of the MicroCloud C-415a server, specifically designed for web hosting, cloud computing, content delivery, etc. The device is based on AMD hardware platform. The novelty is an 18 node 4U platform with high density layout and air cooling.

The server includes AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors. In particular, each of the nodes is equipped with the Ryzen 9 5950X chip (16C/32T, 3.4/4.9 GHz, 64 Mbytes L3-cache). Each of the nodes is equipped with four slots for DDR4-3200 ECC memory modules with a total capacity of up to 128 GB, as well as one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot.

There is support for RAID arrays 0/1/10. Depending on the configuration in each node can be installed up to four NVMe SSD M.2 and up to two drives with SATA 3.0 & ; both DRAM, and SSD supplies Micron. Two 1/10GbE network ports are mentioned among other things. The system is controlled by BMC ASPEED AST2500 and the package comes with all the necessary management software. The developer claims that the novelty is excellent for horizontal scaling tasks and provides TCO reduction.
