ASRock Rack Company introduced the B550D4-4L motherboard on the AMD B550 logic suite, designed for building servers and workstations. The novelty allows installing Ryzen 5000, Ryzen 4000 G-series and Ryzen PRO 4000/3000 processors in AM4 PGA 1331 version. The board is made in ATX format with sizes 305 × 244 mm. There are four slots for DDR4-3200 RAM modules with total capacity up to 128 Gbytes. An M.2 22110/2280/2242 SSD with PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA interface can be installed. In addition, there are six SATA 3.0 ports.
Four Intel i210-based Gigabit Ethernet ports are responsible for network connections. There is also a dedicated management port 1GbE, implemented by the controller Realtek RTL8211E.
A gas pedal can be installed in the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. In addition, there is a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot for an additional expansion card.
On the interface panel, in addition to five sockets for network cables, there are two USB 3.2 Gen1 and USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, a serial port, analog D-Sub connector and digital HDMI interface.
