ASUS unveils TUF Gaming B550-PRO board for AMD Ryzen 5000 processors

ASUS has announced TUF Gaming B550-PRO motherboard, which is designed to build the gaming desktops based on AMD hardware platform. New motherboard is made in ATX form factor and features AMD B550 chipset.

Ryzen 5000 processors can be installed as AM4 units. Up to 128GB of DDR4-4600(O.C)/…/2133 memory can be deployed in up to four 32GB modules.

One PCIe 4.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 expansion slot each is available, as well as three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for graphics accelerators and expansion cards. There are two M.2 connectors for PCIe solid state modules, as well as six standard SATA ports for drives.

There is a 2.5Gb Ethernet networking controller (Realtek RTL8125B) in the board's arsenal , providing up to 2.5 Gb/s bandwidth. Sound subsystem of 7.1 format is based on Realtek ALC S1200A codec.

The interface block has the following configuration: DisplayPort and HDMI connectors, network cable socket, two USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-A and Type-C) and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, S/PDIF output and audio jacks.
