Huawei will start selling desktops outside of China. For now, on AMD processors.

Last November, Huawei released its first desktop computer in China. Now the device will start selling outside of the Middle Kingdom. The MateStation S desktop page has already appeared on Huawei's official website in Malaysia.


The company has redesigned the body of the device compared to the Chinese version of the device, which is sold as MateStation B515. The international version measures 93 × 293× 315.5 mm and weighs 4.2 kg. The computer boasts integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 modules. On the front, users will find USB-A and USB-C connectors, as well as a 3.5-mm audio jack. On the back are four more connectors USB-A, HDMI, Ethernet and two DisplayPort.


The Huawei MateStation S is based on the AMD Ryzen 5 4600G. It comes with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD drive in the base configuration. The computer comes preloaded with Windows 10 with Huawei branded apps.


It is noteworthy that the MateStation S comes with a 23.8-inch monitor with Full HD resolution, certified by TUV Rherinland, in addition to the mouse and keyboard. The cost of the computer has not yet been disclosed.
