AMD may introduce Radeon RX 6000S mobile graphics cards on 6nm chips in early January

In addition to the announcement of new Radeon RX 6500M and Radeon RX 6300M mobile graphics cards, AMD, according to unconfirmed information, is going to update the existing mobile graphics gas pedals. According to VideoCardz, citing several sources, the updated graphics processors NAVI 2X on RDNA 2 architecture will be released in a series of Radeon RX 6000S.

It is indicated that the updated NAVI 2X mobile chips will be based on TSMC's 6nm process technology. The density of transistors in the updated GPU will increase by 18% compared to the current mobile GPUs in video cards Radeon RX 6000M-series. The new chips will provide higher performance per watt than current models. It is also noted that the clock frequency of Radeon RX 6000S graphics processors will be higher than the current models. The announcement of updated Radeon RX 6000S graphics, most likely, will be held at the same time with the announcement of new Ryzen 6000H mobile processors codenamed Rembrandt. In addition to new AMD mobile graphics cards, at the beginning of next year we also expect to see GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti from NVIDIA, as well as discrete graphics cards from Intel's Arc Alchemist series. So, the beginning of next year promises to be very interesting. About all these novelties, most likely, we will find out during the international electronics exhibition CES 2022, which will be held in January.
