Qualcomm introduced an improved flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for powerful smartphones

Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, designed for use in flagship smartphones.

The new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 platform got one Kryo Prime core clocked at up to 3.2 GHz, three Kryo Performance cores at up to 2.8 GHz and four Kryo Efficiency cores at up to 2.0 GHz.The other major components remained the same.
The novelty has a seventh-generation Qualcomm AI Engine, a next-generation Adreno graphics gas pedal with higher clock speeds and a Snapdragon X65 5G modem.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor claims a 10 percent increase in CPU and GPU performance over its predecessor, and a 30 percent improvement in CPU power efficiency.
Also noted a 30% reduction in GPU power consumption.Support for 4K displays with refresh rates up to 60 Hz and QHD+ with refresh rates up to 144 Hz, LPDDR5-3200 RAM, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.Devices on the new platform are preparing such companies as ASUS, Black Shark, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, RedMagic, Redmi, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
