All Ryzen 7000 desktop processors have a graphics core, but it's not good for gaming

During the past Ryzen 7000 processor presentation, AMD CEO Lisa Su left out one important detail about the new chips.
She didn't mention that they have integrated graphics.
However, this information was later confirmed on the manufacturer's official website.Image source: AMDAMD points out that all four presented Ryzen 7000 series processors have the same built-in graphics subsystem.
It consists of two Compute Units (CU) on RDNA 2 architecture, which contain a total of 64 stream processors.
Ryzen 7000 has a base frequency of 400 MHz and a maximum frequency of 2200 MHz.Ryzen 7000 chips are the first AMD desktop processors outside the series of hybrid models with the prefix \"G\", which received integrated graphics.
As part of the Socket AM4 platform, the company has released several series of hybrid APUs, including Renoir and Cezanne, equipped with integrated graphics.
However, the Ryzen 7000's graphics are inherently weaker - the small graphics core is housed in an IO chip and is primarily aimed at office rather than gaming applications.According to third-party estimates, two processing units with 64 stream processors can provide performance at 0.563 Tflops.
This is about 1/3 of the graphics performance of Steam Deck portable console, which has 8 processing units running at 1.6 GHz.By the way, a similar Ryzen 7000 graphics subsystem is expected in the AMD Mendocino series processors.
These mobile chips will be used in affordable and low-power laptops based on the operating system ChromeOS.Image source: VideoCardzThe start of sales of Ryzen 7000 processors is scheduled for September 27.
Prices for the new chips range from $299 for the junior six-core model to $699 for the flagship 16-core model.
