
ASUS has announced the VivoBook 14 (M413) and VivoBook 15 (M513) laptops equipped with NanoEdge displays measuring 14 and 15.6 inches diagonally respectively. Both use a Full HD 1920 × 1080 dot matrix and cover 85 % of the display area.
The notebooks are designed for everyday tasks. They will be offered in three different designs & ; Hearty Gold, Transparent Silver and Indie Black. There's a backlit keyboard with the ASUS NumberPad 2.0 touchpad built into the touchpad (optional).
At the heart of the new products is an AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series processor working in tandem with either 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD has a capacity of up to 1TB.
The laptops come with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, a 720p webcam, Harman/Kardon speakers and a fingerprint scanner. There's USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A and HDMI 1.4, a standard 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD slot. The laptops feature the Windows 10 Home operating system. Sales start date and approximate price have not yet been announced;
